Bomber Command Memorial

To commemorate the RAF Bomber Command, a permanent memorial is to be unveiled by the Queen in Central London on Thursday 28th June.

The unveiling ceremony will include a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Lancaster bomber, which will drop thousands of poppies over the site from its bomb bay, providing a fitting tribute to their sacrifice.
