Sniper Anthology
This volume of ten biographies has the rare distinction of having biographers who are as illustrious as their subjects. Several of them served with distinction in the armed forces, some of them, like Major Mark Spicer, actually worked as snipers, so there is a genuine authority and first hand knowledge in many of the accounts.

As with all anthologies, the quality of the storytelling varies with each contributor's style but the remarkable lives described more than sustain the reader's interest. It is not just the Allied contribution that is included, German and Japanese snipers are chronicled too. Click here to view this extract.
