Earlier this week, the Pen and Sword team listened to a talk from Eddie Idrees in which Eddie gave insights into the current situation in Afghanistan.

Eddie Idrees spent eight years working as an interpreter with, first, American Special Forces before moving across to the Special Air Service. A veteran of over 500 operations, Eddie has recently shared his experiences in the book Special Forces Interpreter.

Following the talk, members of the Pen and Sword team were able to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding. In the video below you can listen to this discussion.
