Roger Rothwell was a machine-gunner in the 1st Battalion Middlesex Regiment, captured by the Japanese on Christmas Day 1941 and spent 4 years as a Japanese Prisoner of War. Before and after World War Two, Roger devoted his life to teaching and public service.
