Gabrielle is a journalist and war historian, specialising in World War Two. A graduate of English and History, he has written for a wide range of newspapers and magazines, including the Reader's Digest, The Guardian and The Independent.
He has also written four books: New Zealand's Secret Heroes - the Story of Donald Stott and the Z Special Unit, Her Finest Hour - the Heroic Life of Diana Rowden Wartime Secret Agent, The Man with Nine Lives, A Song to be Sung and Last Man Standing.
Gabrielle lives in Auckland, New Zealand.
