Jennifer Godfrey is a first time author, juggling research and writing with family life. She enjoys listening to and learning from other people’s stories. She’s worked as a Solicitor where clients’ accounts of a situation must be accurately conveyed. She’s also worked in a mental health charity, listening to experiences and creating resources to support others in a similar position. Writing Suffragettes of Kent has enabled Jennifer to become an advocate once again, but this time for historic Kent voices.
