Natalie Garbett is a fashion historian specialising in military and civilian clothing from the Georgian and Regency periods. Her research also includes the recreation of period clothing based on extant examples in museums and private collections. She has produced costumes for heritage organisations across Europe, including Shakespeares Globe Theatre, and undertaken restoration work for the Design Museum, London. Her research focuses primarily on fashion history from the perspective of clothing production, sewing techniques, pattern cutting and design.
