Peter Suffolk has had a lifelong interest in military history with particular focus on the Second World War. A longstanding member of the Friends of Lancashire Infantry Museum, he has corresponded with and interviewed veterans who served during this significant period of history, gaining valuable insights, and obtaining first-hand accounts and photographs of the conflict. He has provided material found during his research to a fellow author, museums and organisations. He lives in Lancashire with his wife and daughter. The Loyals Were There is his first book.
