Retired civil servant and popular west country speaker Rosemary Griggs has been delving into Devon’s sixteenth century history for ten years, focussing in particular on one very well connected family — the Champernownes. Her extensive research underpins her successful ‘Daughters of Devon’ series of novels. This is her first work of non-fiction.
Rosemary also researches, creates and wears sixteenth century costume to bring the past to life through a unique blend of theatre, history and re-enactment.
