JAMES WILLIAM MARSHALL has studied the history of military aviation in the Second World War for many years, with his primary focus on the battle against the Third Reich and its Axis allies in the Mediterranean and European theatres of operations. As well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Aero Engineering, James is the author of two unit histories – Angels, Bulldogs & Dragons: History of the 355th FG in World War II and Our Might Always: History of the 355th FG in World War II. Based in Texas, he has written several Second World War historical articles.
