Published annually for 60 years, this popular publication is a must for all bus enthusiasts. Edited by Alan Millar – former editor of Buses magazine - the 132-page special is packed with features celebrating all that’s great about Britain’s best-loved mode of public transport.

This 60th annual treat for bus enthusiasts does not disappoint, with 21 articles from knowledgeable authors, which include plenty of pictures, on buses and coaches, old and new, across Britain, Northern Ireland and abroad.

Vintage Road Scene

After 60 continuous years of publication, we ought to be used to the format of this annual book, and we won’t be disappointed. Buses Annual first appeared in time for Christmas 1963, and has arrived with impeccable timing every year since. The 1964 edition had state of the art half cab double deckers on the cover, and just 12 articles in 96 pages. Here we have a state of the art electric bus on the cover, with 21 articles in 128 pages, with mostly colour photos as illustrations.

As always, there is a varied mix of topics, covering current and recent events as well as nostalgia and a bit of history. The twenty-one chapters cover Olympian and Truronian coaches, memorable journeys around the UK and across the English Channel and the list of contributors comprises all the favourites including Mike Fenton, Tony Wilson, and Peter Rowlands. Your Christmas stocking just would not be the same without it!
