Chris Ransted works at The National Archives. His interest in the war years came about as a child, listening to family tales of life in London’s docklands during the Blitz. Since a teenager he has collected artefacts and information relating to bomb disposal, and is devoted to keeping the memory of these brave men alive.
He has had numerous magazine articles published on Bomb Disposal, as well as the books, Disarming Hitler’s V-Weapons and Bomb Disposal and the British Casualties of WW2.
