Ludivine Broch is Senior Lecturer in History at the University of Westminster. She is the author of Ordinary Workers: French Railwaymen, Vichy and the Holocaust (CUP, 2016) and has written widely on the topic of railway workers, memory, resistance and colonial resisters in Vichy France. Her current research and publications focus on the history of material culture, emotions and international relations in postwar France through the story of the French Gratitude Train to the United States in 1949.
