PULS 22 (Paperback)

PULS, an initiative of Bukarest’s National Museum for Contemporary Art (MNAC) began during the COVID-crisis. Since then, the museum supports Romanian artists by biennially purchasing more than 100 relevant creative works, carefully selected from a large pool of submissions by a democratic jury of artists and art professionals. PULS22 showcases in book-form MNAC’s most recent acquisitions and their subsequent exhibition.

This volume, like the former PULS20, is an exciting panoramic snapshot of the country’s dynamic multigenerational art scene. The installation shots speak of an outstanding exhibition and the potential for future loans to curated shows elsewhere.
