The Tretise of Miraclis Pleyinge, composed in the late fourteenth or early fifteenth century, is the "chief surviving antitheatrical document from the Middle Ages", generally considered to be a Lollard attack on the stage. The Middle English text is presented with notes and a substantial introduction and an essay on the dialect of the work.
