A lavishly illustrated book offering detailed how-to steps to build military models of American armored fighting vehicles of World War II. Presented in full color throughout, the book consists of scratch-built, conversions and basic kit models of famous US Army tanks in 1/35th scale. Each chapter focus on a different subject and takes you through the process on how to build that tank in miniature.

The evolution of American armored vehicles during WWII was rapid and the models within represent that progression from the strange early M3 medium tanks, to the iconic M4 Medium Sherman Tank and finally the heavy T26E3 (M26) Pershing Tank, a tank finally the equal of Germany's most developed tanks including the vaunted Tiger tanks at the end of the Second World War.

The model projects depicted illustrate techniques that range from the basic through to highly advanced, with guidance on how to master each one.
