eBooks Help

As of September 2022 we offer new eBook titles as ePub files only, owing to a change in Amazon’s Kindle software which no longer supports the most up-to-date Kindle features for Kindle (.mobi, .azw) files. Any mobi files that are already in your library will not be affected by this change.

If you have previously purchased Kindle files and you wish to exchange them for ePub versions, email us quoting your order number and we will add the ePub version to your account and send a replacement download link.

Please note: if you are intending to use an iOS device such as an iPad or iPhone to read your eBook, we recommend purchasing the ePub file type and viewing through the Apple Books app.

Once you have bought the eBook through the normal checkout process you will be emailed a download link - simply click this link to download the file. The file will also be available in the My Account area of the website when you log in.

You will need an eReader to view your eBook files. There are free eReader apps which you can download from the internet such as Calibre, which will read both ePub and Kindle files. You can also download the Kindle app for PC, Mac or iOS, and Mac users can view eBooks through Apple Books.

Please note: The Kindle Cloud has a file size limit of 50MB. Some of our eBook files exceed this file size and therefore can be added directly to the Kindle e-reader or Kindle app but can’t be backed up to Kindle cloud library – therefore you won’t be able to access them from any other device.

Installing eBooks onto your Kindle device

Send to Kindle: The most straightforward option to transfer your downloaded eBooks to your Kindle library is to use one of Amazon’s Send to Kindle applications. There are different options which allow you to send files to your Kindle by email, a drag-and-drop desktop app for PC or Mac and an option for Android devices. Find the best option for your needs on the Send to Kindle page.
