There's few days worth of museum hopping that you can do. You get a sense of the place, artists, museums art curators and how the city is teeming with art and artists alike with its street graffiti and sculptures and gardens.

[b]Rating[/b]: 5 out of 5 stars This volume features some of the beautiful and illuminating artworks created by the artists who traveled with European explorers. It also includes excerpts of the writings of the explorers. These histories are fascinating but often horrifyingly colonialist. It's a startling look into the minds of the Europeans of this era.

This is a beautiful book. The watercolour sketches are so simple yet so intricate. I love the style of sketching with the soft watercolours set to them. Each brief description gives a little extra insight into the sketches. It was like a small tour through the eyes of the artist.
