The oldest child keeps up a running list of astute and amusing observances that Dad must ponder, which further tires him out. I'm sure any parent who has struggled to get a young one down at night will sympathize, and enjoy this book.

This book pulled up my heartstrings. It is an easy children’s book to read before bed, but I also talked about how no matter who your parents are, if they are both men or both women, or if they identify something different, or they have any race or their disability that the love the parent has, for the child is unconditional and unmoving and it’s just absolutely beautiful. I didn’t think a children’s book touch my heart so well, but it did, and I would 100% recommend.

This is a cute story about a very large father who is trying to put his two very small children to bed.

Unsuccessfully.

Because each time he makes an attempt to get them to settle, his little girl comes up with "just one more thing" she needs to discuss before bedtime! And in the end, he cracks before they do...

The illustrations are quirky and very appealing and the story has a great deal of humour. The questions the little girl comes up with are as unique as they are creative. Enjoyable.
