About Philip Vickers
After military service in the Canal Zone, Egypt, Philip Vickers worked in international marketing and in human rights behind the Iron Curtain. He has written on secret intelligence in the two
World Wars and was guest speaker in Washington DC at a CIA Conference on irregular warfare. "Das Reich" has, partly, inspired a BBC documentary on SOE and the French Resistance in the context of D-Day, for which he has been in liaison with the surviving Resistants.
